We carved in the white pine for the terrace project of Café Caron & Frères, located in Montreal Little Italy. We created curves, contrast and relief to give people small spaces where they can share and enjoy. The bench in the middle brings dialogue, conviviality and balance. The waves are the result of the unconscious fluctuation of our minds.

Le projet de terrasse pour le café Caron et Frères répond à une volonté de Simon-Pierre et de Xavier-Bernard de rassembler les clients dans un espace convivial et original. Les courbes sont les fluctuations de l’inconscient collectif et individuel. Le banc au centre permet le dialogue, la convivialité et l’équilibre. Le pin blanc est courbé, en relief et en contraste. Créant ainsi de mini espaces qui favorisent et facilitent le partage dans le lieu.

We made the furniture for the Myriade Café located in a brutalist building of Montreal Shaughnessy neighborhood. For this project, we were makers with a touch of design advices and our expertise on proportions. We worked the solid red oak to build shelves, high tables and the bar front. The bar front pattern suggests the M of Myriade drawn by the relief of the red oak. We created the bar stools and the benches. We particularly love how the natural light sheds on the red oak in this concrete building.

Le café Myriade dans le quartier Shaughnessy de Montréal se situe dans un immeuble au style brutaliste, fait de béton et d’angles. Pour ce projet, nous avons été essentiellement fabriquant, avec une touche de conseils design et notre expertise sur les proportions. Nous avons travaillé le chêne rouge massif pour les étagères, les tables hautes et le devant du bar. Le pattern du devant du bar rappelle le M de Myriade grâce au relief du chêne rouge. Nous avons créé les tabourets et la banquette en L. Nous aimons particulièrement comment l'abondante lumière naturelle se dépose sur le chêne rouge dans cet immeuble de béton.

We designed the space for Café Dreamy, Dreamy, Dreamy, which is located in this big shop where coffee is roasted for many Montreal brands. With the shape of the long bar, we carved the space and created a flow. Our aim was to facilitate the circulation between the different functions of this commercial place, where professional and amateurs meet around coffee. We designed and built the shelves, tables and stools in an industrial look.

Nous avons réalisé le design d'espace pour le café Dreamy, Dreamy, Dreamy, situé dans un grand atelier de torréfaction pour les marques de café Montréalaises. Avec la forme du long bar, nous avons découpé l'espace et créé un flow. Notre but était de faciliter la circulation entre les différentes fonctions de cet espace commercial, où professionnels et amateurs se rencontrent autour du café. Nous avons conçu et fabriqué les étagères, les tables et les tabourets dans un style industriel.

The space is big. A place where professional and amateur coffee meets.

In order to enjoy the vue, we create a flow thanks to the design of the bar. 

The classical style of the benches brings outside the design of the café. We focused on the proportions and shape of the joined benches to create a warm space where people can meet and share. We managed with the curved line of the long outer bench to connect the inside and the outside in a unique space.

Le style classique des bancs transporte le design du café à l'extérieur. Nous avons crée des proportions et des formes pour joindre les bancs dans un espace convivial et élégant, où les invités peuvent se rencontrer et partager.

We designed and built this trapezoidal bench for the facade of the Caron et Frères café in Montreal Little Italy. The shape of the bench welcomes the circulation into the café. The succession of square maple blocs, creates a beautiful pattern observable from the other side of the street.

Le banc est de forme trapézoïdale afin d’accueillir la circulation vers l’entrée du café. La succession de blocs en érable qui forme l'assise, crée un pattern observable depuis l'autre côté de la rue.

Buvette Pastek is located in a hotel lobby. The goal was to integrate a mural bar that could be closed. To optimize the space for the bottles, the challenge was to build a metal structure that would be strong enough to bear the weight and light enough in harmony with the existing design. As you open the pages of a book, everyday the shelves open with the restaurant, and the story begins.

Buvette Pastek est située dans le lobby d’un hôtel. Le projet était d’intégrer un bar mural qui pourrait être fermé hors des heures d’ouverture. Afin d’optimiser la place pour les bouteilles, le défi a été de créer une structure en métal à la fois solide pour en supporter le poids tout en demeurant légère et bien intégrée au design existant. Comme les pages d'un livre qui s'ouvrent, le bar mural s'ouvre chaque jour avec le restaurant, et l'histoire peut commencer.

Different shelves we designed along our projects. The two first pictures are at Café Caron & Frères Knowltown. We remodeled the space after it became Caron et Frères in 2023. We changed the circulation and shelving. We designed those solid oak and metal shelves for the wine bottles and coffee bags. The third picture are oak floating shelves on an oak wall. The last picture is pine and metal shelves in an industrial design, with beautiful proportions.

Différentes étagères que nous avons conçues au cours de nos projets commerciaux. Les deux premières photos sont au Caron et Frères de Knowltown. Nous avons remodelé l'espace après qu'il soit devenu un café Caron et Frères en 2023. Nous avons changé la circulation et le rayonnage. Nous avons conçu ces étagères en métal et chêne massif pour les bouteilles de vin et les sacs de café. La troisième photo montre des étagères flottantes en chêne massif sur un mur de chêne en relief. La dernière photo montre une étagère en pin et métal, dans un design industriel et de belles proportions.

We created wardrobes for the brand Berenik when they opened their showroom in New-York. We designed the counter, with an hexagonal wood pattern and an original marble shape on the side.

Nous avons crée les penderies pour la marque Berenik quand ils ont ouvert leur showroom à New-York. Nous avons conçu et fabriqué le comptoir, avec un pattern de bois hexagonal et une forme de marbre original sur le côté.

Orion constellation projected on the wall and materialized by Edith Cochrane ceramics, each day enables a client to connect with the next, in this advent calendar designed for Madeleine bakery in Montreal, Rosemont.

La constellation d’Orion projetée au mur et matérialisée par les céramiques d’Édith Cochrane, permet chaque jour à un client de faire le lien avec le suivant, dans ce calendrier de l'avent conçu pour la pâtisserie Madeleine à Rosemont, Montréal.
